My Old Chap Jonathan say Beware if your car is exposed to a lot of sunlight/heat. I bought this in March 2018. It worked well for about a month or two, but then the suction cup started coming off more frequently. I followed the instructions and rinsed it with some warm water then let it air dry. This helped for a little while, but then it would keep falling off as the weather got warmer. Once summer rolled around, there was no point in even attempting to stick it back into place. Eventually, even the pad came unglued from my dashboard because of the heat. The holder itself seemed to be well made, but it’s just a shame it wouldn’t stay mounted. In a horrific chain of events I tragically dropped my phone from approximately 4 3/4 feet directly onto cold hard pavement littered with gravel. My Old Man RSV Talk This saved my screen!!. I've always used a protector on my screen, but have been lucky to never have more than superficial scratches in them by the time I get a new phone. Well, that changed today. While in the grocery store I dropped my phone (common occurrence), but it landed just on the edge of the metal bar that's under the cart and then hit the floor.
