My Old Boy Erin Bernasek say Saved my phone lost in the river for nearly 2 weeks!.

I went floating with some friends on June 17, 2018 (Father's Day). I put my iPhone 7 Plus (not in the case), my ID, my credit card, and a few other cards in the Mpow IPX8 case before we went. I had it around my neck but when we stopped at an island, I took it off my neck and put it in the tube, unattached. When we went to take-off, I forgot to grab the case and jumped in the tube, only for the tube to overturn and the case with all of my goods to fall out in the 3-4' of water, fast moving current! We searched that day and again the following Sunday when we went again. I bought a new phone, knowing mine was gone forever. 12 days later, June 29th, I received a call that another floater lost her phone on the same island and found mine in the 3-4' of water when she was looking for hers. The IPX8 case saved everything in the case! EVERYTHING was bone dry!! I am totally impressed and so thankful I chose the Mpow IPX8 case to protect my phone!

My Fellow Kryssy say Perfect for snorkeling & fit iPhone X.

I bought these for snorkeling in Hawaii, and they worked great! I have an iPhone 6s and my husband has an iPhone X, and they both fit fine. I had zero leakage, and they seem to be made with a high quality.

I chose these pouches because I wanted to use them while snorkeling and both sides of the pouches are clear unlike some other brands, so now I could take photos and see my screen at the same time.

The lanyard was also great so I wasn’t afraid to drop my phone while snorkeling. My brother didn’t have a lanyard and dropped his phone and he found it very difficult to dive down far and find his phone (10+ ft). It was a close call. However I do wish the piece on the lanyard that slides up and down to tighten it around your neck had a clasp to lock it in place. This one does not and is loose, so the pouch just hangs loosely like a necklace. I wanted to be able to tighten it close to my neck for extra reassurance that I would t drop it. But it still worked fine. I also only went down about 5 feet max from the surface. The lanyard is also nice just so you can be hands free to swim and let the pouch hang.

The pictures/videos were clear and turned out nice, but the photo shutter button on the touch screen didn’t work under water due to the suction and pressure of the water, but it did work above the water while still in the pouch. So I had to turn on the camera app before going under and use the volume buttons as the shutter button (same with taking a video).

I did do a waterproof test before using it, and when I removed the tissue, I got a few drops of water inside the pouch, so when I went snorkeling, I had some condensation/fog inside and those pictures turned out pretty blurry, so make sure your pouch is 100% dry before using it. My husbands was dry, and his pics turned out great. I definitely recommend!

(The video quality is lacking in my post b/c Amazon compresses the video & not because of the pouch. The quality looks much better on my phone!)

My Buddy TJF experience Five Stars.

Phone stayed bone dry as advertised.

My Old Boy Y. Sohn say Second time buying these.

I bought a 2-pack of these three years ago for a Hawaii trip. It worked swimmingly for the snorkeling trip and beach sessions. It continued to hold up very well through several more trips to pools and beaches throughout the past three years. I've also used cheaper waterproof pouches, which held up okay and did not damage my phone. But when it came time for me to buy some more, I didn't hesitate to come back to the Mpow pouches and send a few more dollars for the quality construction and the knowledge that it'll last me a long time.
The water resistance is obviously the most important feature, and this product has not let me down over the years of use. Just be careful when you open the pouch after use: make sure you dry off the top locking mechanism and the zipper seal before you open it. The touch screen sensitivity is certainly not like when you're using it without the pouch. But it's responsive enough to unlock the phone and take pictures/videos. But it will be difficult, for example, to type long emails through the pouch. Face recognition can be bit of a hit and miss. I think it may be because the camera sits quite close to the top where the pouch is sitting at an angle (and not flat against the phone). But nothing that can't be dealt with by unlocking with the passcode. Overall, it's a great product. I've obviously bought it again and will do so in the future, though I doubt I'll need to replace mine for a long, long time.

My Old Boy Christina B. said Awesome for Hawaii trip!! See video!.

Worked awesome!! Fyi touch screen wouldn't work under water so make sure your buttons work to snap photos on your iPhone 7. These are a must for any vacation with water!! We went on a very small raft up the Napali coast of Kauai and we got hosed with splashing seawater the whole time-but I got amazing photos and videos because I had the pouch!! Also love how it was secure around my neck and could easily detach to take a selfie! Also snorkels with my phone and got great videos!!

My Old Boy Marilyn Smith say Great product, works as described..

Just returned from Orlando yesterday, used these at Discovery Cove and they worked perfect, could not be happier! I have a Samsung Galaxy 3, took photos above and underwater. I can not believe how clear the underwater photos can out, I figured they would be blurry but they were beautiful! I was very concerned about easy of use and waterproof but the product is easy to use, just opened it up, put my phone in case and all, sealed it up and was good to go. To a bit to text but taking pictures even underwater was easy, used it all day, no leaks, not a drop. I did the test on both at home before we left for vacation and both passed. Dry off the outside as good as you can before removing your phone, you may get a few small droplets in the case when you take your phone out. Great product, great price, highly recommend!

My Old Fellow ____ said Great seal and good materials..

The phone is usable when in this bag (motorola and lg). I was skeptical of the water proofing but I filled the bag with air and sealed it, then pressed down on it really hard. No leakage whatsoever even under heavy pressure. The detachable lanyard is a nice touch as well. If you buy these I would recommend adding something that floats, I've seen people drop these in the water and lose their phones because they don't float on their own. I would recommend these to anyone who has a cell phone near water.

My friend Connie Thomas Talk It fits an iPhone 8+! (Kind of).

This came within twenty four hours and I was excited to see that it was big enough to fit an iPhone 8+. Not many cases these days can. However (ahem). It does always depend on what case you’ve got on your phone. An otter box case? Absolutely not. A slim case? Yes... however it will be difficult to remove it once it’s in (which is what happened to me.) -especially if you’ve got a non-slip backing on the case. Almost worth it to just take off whatever case you’ve got completely. I does fit an iPhone four with otter box case and a pop socket on the back. (My teens phone). I haven’t tested yet the waterproof aspect, so I can’t speak to that. I does seem a little strange to have to unclip the clasps at the top to slide the device inside the plastic portion of the pouch. Bought these to go into teacher end of the year thank you beach bags. They do seem like they would be durable and they are a thick quality material.

My Old Chap B. K. Talk Works 100%.

We took these on a trip to Hawaii. Snorkeled a dozen times and free dove up to 20 feet deep. These work great, no leaks, well made and durable. Ample room for my Galaxy S10+

The closure clasps hold well. Use both sides of the clasps to open and close and you won't break a finger nail. The touch screen functions work if you squeeze the air out before closing and get the air bubble off of the screen. I also turned on the glove touch screen sensitivity. The added thickness of the case window does not allow fingerprint recognition, obviously.

It was very cool to use our phone to get underwater pictures and video. No audio though, any waterproof case would not allow the phone's microphone to pick up audio.

The only thing I can add is, that we should have bought and brought more of these as we lost one between Islands, probably left in the rental car. It would have been nice to have extra units for keys, cards and money.

My Old Boy JAY301 Talk Amazing!.

I used this to take my phone in the pool. I submerged my phone in the water with no problem at all. The only thing that was frustrating is that when in the heat the plastic gets stuck to the phone on the inside so I had a hard time removing my phone from the case. To avoid this I put a piece of tissue on the backside of my phone before sliding it into the waterproof case. This completely eliminated the problem and I no longer had any issues getting it out. The price makes it so worth it!
