Lamicall Cell Phone Stand Dock
My Fellow Cat Lady experience Perfect Little Stand. A Bit Tough On Cords..
I love it when a simple product like this one makes my life so much better. This inexpensive stand looks pretty and is perfect for holding my phone so I can see it without having to pick it up. I have one on my desk and one on my nightstand. Some other reviewers have said they wished they could change the angle of the tilt, but I haven't found a need for that - the angle seems just fine for me.
My only real complaint is that plugging in the phone is a little tricky. Since the piece that plugs in isn't very flexible, what happens is that the cord is bent at a pretty severe angle while plugged in and resting in the stand. I try to give the cord enough slack so that it's not pulled too tightly, but it almost works better if you don't thread the cord through the hole in the back, as pictured, but just plug it in from the front or side. That doesn't fix the cord clutter issue as well, but it might make your cord last longer. The design could be improved by having the entire phone holder section a little higher from the surface, so there's more space for the plug and cord. This isn't a problem at all if the phone is not plugged in while resting in the stand.
My Buddy Livia said Now my husband has one of his own....
I purchased one of these in the brushed aluminum finish (as well as a larger one for a tablet) and both have been great. My husband was admiring them, and wanted one for his phone so I got him this cell phone stand in black. He likes how it looks, he likes how it works, and uses it at his office to facilitate calls on speaker phone.
Update: The one thing I would change about these stands is the Logo. It ruins the sleekness of the product to have it visible. Granted, it is fairly subtle on the silver one, but I still see it from the front, on the top of the base. It is much worse on my husband's because instead of looking nice and sleek, whoever sits across his desk has to look at the white on black "Lamicall, blah blah blah" and it is jarring instead of sleek. Lamicall, please put your logo on the bottom, face down to the surface it sits on!!! All the best artists do it this way, it is a time-honored tradition to sign functional artistic pieces underneath (think china plates, figurines, bronzes). Having all that writing visible on such a sleek piece undoes its coolness.
My Old Fellow Castles Talk Good Metal Phone Holder.
We purchased 2 of the black metal phone stands. It works well with our iPhone 8 plus that has an Otterbox Defender case on both. It comes with 4 soft small round pads for the bottom of the stand so it will not scratch what ever surface it is siting on, although I doesn't look like it will scratch any surface even without having the little feet pads. This also comes with extra feet pads along with extra rubber pad that sits behind the phone so it will not slide off the stand. You can use this for your iPhone vertically or horizontally, both directions work well with this stand. I like the fact I can have the phone plugged in while it is on the stand with no issues with the cord. For the price this stand is well worth the money spent.
My Buddy Aiden Eugene tell us Fantastic!.
I watch my Netflix and Vudu on my phone and had been wedging my phone up against a water bottle and pinning it between something so it didn’t slide. It was very difficult to work with, especially if I needed to plug it in.
I randomly ran across this and figured I’d give it a shot. I did lots of comparisons for prices and quality and I am glad I settled on this bigger.
I have an iPhone 6s and an Otterbox so I was worried it wouldn’t be thick enough to hold it but it fits PERFECTLY.
I expected the little pads on it to be felt but they’re a nice quality rubber and it came with extras of those.
I’ve already had two of my friends get phone stands because of how helpful this has become for me.
The color isn’t important to me because I can always fix that. But getting this in the color I did actually was a very nice choice also.
The ONLY thing I’d say could be better is I wish it had was a little more weight on the bottom of the stand so when I tap the upper part of the screen (if it’s vertical) it does shake the stand a tad but it’s nothing that makes me not like it.
My Fellow Yodamazon. Talk This product is a rare gem....
I personally own a total of four of these stands.
I’ve also given two more away, because they make great gifts.
They are manufactured of sturdy metal, and are of the highest quality.
And here’s the kicker...
They sent me a little thank you card and extra base stickers in a little envelope (see picture) just in case for some reason over the annuals of time, I might for some reason or another need to replace one or all of them.
Who even does this sort of thing anymore?
They might as well have said something like, “Dear honorable customer, Thank you for purchasing this item that is going to last so long that when you pass it on to your descendants they might just need some new pads for the base AND the pads that secure the phone some day.”
Because of these extra stickers, I actually made a mental note of what the name of this company (Lamicall ) and perused their other offerings as well.
They have stands and holders for all kinds of electronic devices.
They got some nice things for sale there, and I think I’m gonna keep doing business with em.
Thanks for the nice touch and not penny pinching when it comes to my continued satisfaction long after my purchase, Lamicall.
Seriously, who does this anymore.
Other companies need to take a clue.
My Old Fellow Jenn.K experience I wish I could give it 6 stars.
I’ve had this in my wish list and finally decided to purchase. I’m so glad I finally did. I was most surprised by the fact it is made of metal and not plastic. It is sturdy and keeps my phone in easy reach on my desk at work. I love the cord cutout that allows you to charge with the phone in an upright position. With my old stand I would have to charge with the phone on it’s side. If you listen to music while you work this is a functional and attractive addition to use. Love it
My Fellow ND Gal tell us Fits iPhone 6s+ with Otterbox Defender case!.
Let me repeat that. This fits iPhone 6s+ with Otterbox Defender case! This fits my phone perfectly in both vertical & horizontal orientation, while feeling secure & still easy to grab regardless of whether the phone is charging. All branding on the stand is on the back side, which for me faces my office wall. The front of the stand is somewhat minimalist, both clean & sleek. This is the stand I've been looking for!
I previously was using a ECandy stand which was serviceable. It looked nice, but it wouldn't hold my phone in the Otterbox Defender case unless I was hooking it into place by charging the phone. The tab covering the charging port would pop down, and between the tab & the cord itself the phone would stay. It would not stay in the stand in the upright position on its own.
My friend Niki Talk Perfect Cellphone Stand.
Lamicall cell phone stand is perfect! I didn't want a dock - just a stand that would hold my phone securely and allow enough clearance for a charger cable, without crimping the cable.
I needed a stand that has a wide enough "foot" to display my phone with its attached CardNinja Ultra-slim Self Adhesive Credit Card Wallet for Smartphones, Black, which holds six credit cards. This means the back of my phone is somewhat bulky and uneven, but this stand keeps my phone in place without any worry about nicks or scratches. Also, the rubber grips on the base are really grippy - no nudging or slipping when I take my phone off the stand. And the stand even came with extra grips. I am one very happy customer!
My Old Boy USMC 1803 Talk The Perfect Holder for My Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge!.
My phone, a Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge, fits in the holder perfectly! The holder is made of sturdy aluminum and has foam pads on the bottom of the base to prevent slipping and to protect table surfaces from scratching. There are also foam pads on the arms and front-facing surface where the phone rests to protect the phone. The box containing the stand also came with a "Spare Parts" envelope containing extra foam pads. My phone has a standard protective case and it still fits the holder. The hole in the rear of the holder is beveled so the cord will not be damaged as it passes through the hole. My charger cord is flexible so it bends easily and is bent where it enters the phone but not enough to damage the connector. The angle of the stand is perfect for me. I am able to tap the keyboard to send a message without the stand tipping over. It was an excellent purchase!
My Old Fellow Lorraine tell us It is sturdy hands free..
I am very happy with this purchase. I also bought one for my parents. It’s fantastic for use on your desk. You can be writing and scrolling. I enjoy watching people I follow sometimes I’m cooking and I just place on the counter you can set it on a table next to you hands free great for FaceTime . It comes with a whole through the back for your cables and also little adhesive strips to keep your phone in place. They also include an additional set of adhesive. The item is metal so it’s easy to sanitize and it sits up perfectly. If you need to be charging while using your phone you do not have to run your charging cable through the back if it’s easier for you run through the front. I would purchase again.
