AUKEY Ethernet Delivery Charging Chromebook

AUKEY Ethernet Delivery Charging Chromebook

My Old Neighbor Mari Talk All important adaptions in one hub.

I like how it facilitates only the most useful adaptions without going overboard. Its small and convenient.

My Old Fellow jatin patel Talk Very fast ethernet and connects easily to all ports.

this Adapter is great even tho it is small. it has all the ports necessary. I use it with MacBook pro which only have usb C port so this was a must need for me. and trust me this work very good and fast. I usually use this to connect my mac to external monitor and to charge my Samsung phone also. So this is so helpful to me and works great.

My Buddy Denisse said Works with Apple computers!.

Recently purchased a new computer (Mac air). They only come with a USB-C port and I couldn’t connect anything that didn’t have blue tooth capabilities. With this I can connect everything, from HDMI to Ethernet. I was afraid my computer would give me an error message since it’s not an Apple adaptor but I didn’t. Works great!

My Old Fellow Ethan Erdin said Good Design for USB-C gadgets.

This is my second device and with the recent USB-C only gadgets you will need this. It has a really chic design. My Dell laptop and Samsung phone matches perfectly. I bought it because of the ethernet port and I already used the port to configure my router. It may be warm a little bit when you use but it is not a problem for me. Recommend it.

My friend Phil Q. said Great little USB-C Hub.

I bought this for use with my MacBook Pro since it doesn't have any ports other than 4x USB-C ports. It works wonderfully. The ethernet port is great for when I'm traveling in case my hotel room has a direct ethernet connection. I love being able to plug in a 2nd monitor since that allows me to be more productive. The USB 3.0 ports are great for those rare times I need them.

Overall, the product works great and will be recommending it to friends, co-workers, and family.

My Old Neighbor Prime User tell us Excellent Product.

Very good product. Really satisfactory. Easy and simple to use. No issue connecting USB's and a monitor using HDMI port. Some USB ports in my laptop haven't worked well, but this product just made the resolution. Matt metallic silver color also matches my laptop pretty well.

My Buddy Vlad say Overheats and gets wonky.

This is used under a 2019 Macbook Pro with HDMI, Ethernet, external webcam (USB) and a logitech unified receiver for mouse and keyboard (USB)...

When the power cord is plugged into this hub, it gets super hot to the touch and anything plugged into it starts getting wonky. The wired network keeps going in and out and usb devices like mice and keyboards start lagging or missing inputs entirely. If you take the power delivery cable out, it cools down a little but is still very hot with nearly the same frequency of issues. If you remove the network cable, it gets considerably cooler (still plenty warm though) and devices still have issues but with much less frequency.

I'm sending this back for a refund and will be trying a different brand to see if I can get a more stable hub. I gave this two stars because if you just use this for just usb or just HDMI it'll work ok.

My Old Chap ATan experience Solid build quality, minor flaw is that my wireless mouse must be within 1 foot of receiver.

I have tried a few of these USB-C dongles and they all seem to have some pro and cons. I will list my findings on other products at the bottom for comparison.

This dongle seems to be built well and with quality materials (aluminum?). Unlike other products, the HDMI port (to connect a second monitor) does not intermittently go out and doesn't need to be wiggled into just the right position. Any position seems to work and it can be moved around without worrying about losing connection. The USB-C port for pass through power delivery seems to work fine for powering my laptop and phone. The usb 3.0 ports work well with my external HD, thumb drive, and a wired mouse. HOWEVER, all three of my wireless mice (via usb 3) need to be within a foot of the usb receiver to work effectively. When the dongle is plugged in on the opposite side of my mouse, it is very jerky/laggy or just simply won't work. It must supply a lower amount of power than other products. I will not use the ethernet port so I can't comment on how that works.

Overall, at <$30 it's the best bang for the buck dongle I've used so far.

Other dongles I've tried...

Insignia 3 in 1 (from Best Buy):
Pros - If I didn't touch or move the HDMI or dongle, everything worked great and I could use my wireless mouse 3' away from receiver
Cons - More expensive at $40, HDMI connection wasn't stable, got hot while using, cheap plastic, only 1 usb 3.0 slot

Apple 3 in 1 (my wife's):
Pros - All ports worked pretty well
Cons - Way overpriced at $70, HDMI connection went out once or twice but mostly stable, cheap plastic, only 1 usb 3.0 slot

I wouldn't be surprised if apple and insignia were made in the same factory, they are almost identical, but the Apple one seemed to work a little better.

Overall I recommend this over Insignia or Apple. Unless I find a solution to getting wireless mice to work better, I will make this work.

My Old Fellow AGLand say Works great, solid value.

I use a lightweight 12" macbook with only one USB C port that has to double for power and connections. As such I need a single dongle that handles display and USB out, as well as power in to drive my computer.

This fits the bill wonderfully. Haven't tried the ethernet port, so I can't speak to speeds there, but for basic USB functionality, power input and the ability to drive an HDMI monitor at 1440p it works really well.

Build quality is totally workable: it isn't bulletproof but I'm also not planning to run it over with a car. The connections are sturdy, the USB-C dongle portion is well made, and it doesn't get too hot. I've always been an anker guy first, with aukey being my second option but this has an extra USB port and ethernet vs. the similarly priced anker option.... so for my money the Aukey is a better buy.

My Fellow J. Song experience **** UPDATED: There are issues with the Ethernet connection..

***UPDATED: So I'm using all the ports in this hub and sometimes I'm losing the ethernet connection. This ethernet connection issue didn't occur with my original ethernet-only adapter so I'm attributing the cause of failure to the hub and will be returning the product. It's so unfortunate since I really liked the port configuration in this hub.

===================ORIGINAL====================

I've purchased this hub as I use my laptop as my main computer and I don't want to unplug everything whenever I need to leave with my laptop. This had all the ports that I used, ethernet, two USBs, and HDMI. It also has one USB-C port which will come in handy when I need it since the hub itself is connected through USB-C. So far, I've only had it for ten minutes, but after running an internet speed test, the latency is actually faster than the ethernet port provided by the laptop maker that I was using, HDMI works fine without a problem, and the other two USB-B 3.0 ports are perfect for my keyboard and drawing tablet. Great product!
