My Old Fellow Elizabeth Talk Petite/short ladies, this review is for you!.

I’m 5’ 2” & 135 lbs & to be honest I wear different sizes ranging from XS to Medium depending on the store. I got the Extra Small because of my height & because everyone said the dress was flowy. It fit perfectly! The bottom hovers the ground with sandals. If I had a smaller butt or chest it would probably drag a little. It’s not too clingy but it did fall right over my curves which I love because it doesn’t make my short self look “boxy.” The material is not top notch but does not seem cheap either. It’s the kind of dress quality you might get at H&M. It’s thick enough so you cannot see your bra through it but thin enough to wear on a hot day.

-1 star- the pockets on this dress are poorly placed and super unflattering for women who have just a little extra fluff on those hips. They are right on your hips and add just a little extra bulk making me look much more pear shaped than I am.
-1 star- the length is NOT as expected. From the reviews I was hoping this would be long enough for my height. I’m 5’8” and this doesn’t even touch my ankles in the front of back! I don’t have huge boobs, but I do have a bigger butt and typically expect a little lift from that alone. But the fact that it’s not even close to my ankles is super annoying. Basically I’m getting ready for a tsunami in the middle of the desert in AZ. So that’s cool.
-1 star- if you want people to see through your soul as you bend over then this is the dress for you. It’s SEE THROUGH! The fabric is soft, but you definitely can’t go without a slip or underwear if that’s your thing.
-1 star- the slit is not as pictured either! I was hoping to have a very cute dress for family photos with just a little slit to show off my cute booties, but NOOOOO this slit goes about halfway up my thigh! The slit in the dress pictured is clearly right below the knee. So now if I plan to wear this dress I have to go tan these thighs so I am not the brightest star in the pictures.

And to put the cherry on top of this disaster, it smells atrocious. The moment I opened the bag I wanted to throw it in the washer, but here I am taking pictures in this stinky dress for you, you’re welcome.

I got it in the mail today and tried it on asap! Love love this dress! The material is soft, the army green is so pretty. Fyi ladies I am 5'6. 190. the girl's are 38dd and I'm curvy. Xl I have lot's of room. The dress flows. I could of gotten a lg. If you're going to use a shaper make sure it's a leotard type or a waist clincher because the splits on the side are high enough for anything else to be shown. I'm definitely buying another.

I LOVE this dress! After seeing a blogger post about it on Instagram, I decided to give it a try!
I’m 5’7, 135 lbs. with a growing baby bump & I LOVE how the small fits me!
It’s a little shorter than other maxis that I own, but the slits on the sides make that not a big deal- I actually like that it shows off my shoes!
The fabric is super comfy & stretchy so I plan to get a lot of wear out of this dress as the bump grows!
I highly recommend ordering one!

I did not receive the dress pictured. I received a sleeveless red dress similar to the one pictured only w/out the sleeves and there is a seam between the “tank style” top and the long bottom half of the dress which makes it more of an empire waist dress than a loose hanging T-shirt style maxi dress. It was decent quality but is probably a size smaller than the measurements listed for the size I ordered.

Read bunches of reviews for this and for similarly described products, decided to go with this item despite some very negative reviews, and I’m so glad I did! Some of the scary reviews must have been (hopefully) flukes or freak defective items; my dress had no weird smell, fits like a dream, and is the correct fabric composition (95% rayon, 5% spandex). If you like rayon, you know there’s the really light/thin version and the heavier/thicker version; this is the heavy one. It drapes nicely and moves well.

I had a hard time deciding what size to get, so for those in the same boat, here are my specs:
90/69/96 cm (35/27/38 in), 138 lb, long torso with a lean build (my bust is mostly breadth, not boob). I prefer my clothes looser rather than tighter; the size S in this product fits just a little more snugly on me than on the model in the picture. 5’8” tall and the bottom hem brushes a scant 3” above my ankle. Side slits come up to mid-thigh.

The color is true to the picture, and the v at the front and back aren’t too deep!

Not sure how it’ll wash since I just got it today, but I’m pretty sure cold wash and hang dry will keep it in good condition.

This dress was not what I expected. It was a very heavy material rather than being flowy. I normally wear a size 6 (5'9" 150lbs), but i ordered the medium rather than small (what the manufacturer sizing chart put me in) because I like my dresses on the longer side. Fit-wise, the dress was a disaster for me. Because the fabric is so thick and stiff, I was completely shapeless and it gave off a boxy feel. I could have gone a size down, but the dress was already too short for me (hard to tell from the photos but hit mid shin), so that would have made it even shorter. I ended up returning the dress, but I think if you're shorter than I am and stick with the sizing guide, this could be a nice dress.

First lets begin w/size. I am 5' 1", 195lbs, 40DD and I purchased a Large (Wine color). I was looking for a dress I could wear over a bathing suit when we port on the cruise. THIS DRESS IS PERFECT! It hides my trouble spots w/out taking away my curves. I'm a shorty so I tied the front of the dress and it added even more beauty. The fabric is airy and the color is EXACTLY as described. The pockets add a lovely touch also. I will be ordering this dress in other colors. ADVICE: read the comments to find your perfect fit. Use other reviews to determine what size will fit; it definitely worked for me.

Love this! I bought every color! Perfect for summer! Ladies I am 5'5" weigh 170 my chest is a 38DD I got a Large on my first order which was fine, but decided to size up for all my other dresses. I wanted a looser look on me, like the model in the picture. So the XL gave me a little more loose look. It's perfect for hot summer weather with some cute sandals AMD cute accessories. I gave it 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💗
