This is the best neck gaiter I've found here on Amazon. I've purchased and returned multiple other brands until I found this one. Even though the tag says "Made in China", you can tell this Mission neck gaiter is quality right when you put it on. The material is lightweight but not too thin or see-through like some other products where my stubble/goatee would poke through. Has held up through multiple washes in the washer + hand-washing. Feels great when used wet as well. I love wearing this when I have to walk my dog during this sheltering-in-place.

It's too bad these aren't available at this time, I would buy one or two more, it has been a savior for me during the pandemic as a neck warmer and face mask. I find it comfortable, breathable, and for a while, cooling. I use it for bicycling and pickleball. For biking the wind against it as I ride dries out the cooling moisture in front relatively soon, but it's still more cooling than heating, and makes a comfortable face mask. The rear of the neck stays cooler longer. If I haven't encountered any potential virus contamination sometimes I'll re-wet and re-activate it during the ride. For pickleball the cooling effect lasts longer, and it works much better than any facemask. It doesn't hinder my sight, doesn't fog up my sunglasses, and is comfortable to wear. It's not the greatest protection from viruses, around the same level as a bandana, but is more effective because it is form fitting with fewer gaps. If both partners are wearing masks, however, it should be effective because neither are exhaling droplet plumes. Since these were sold out I also tried the Buff "Coolnet UV" neck gator, but that had virtually no cooling compared to this Mission.

I bought this to use as a mask to protect against Coronavirus. I had one that my mother made, thanks Mom, was wearing it back in March, and it was hot and uncomfortable then. I ordered this one, then 2 more before I had received the first because I wanted to be able to wash and rotate them. I've been wearing these for about a month and a half now and find them to be tolerable. I know this doesn't sound like high praise, but it is far better than others I've tried. They are light and do breathe and can be wetted down when it's hot. The material is thin, so I don't know how effective it is against the virus, but hopefully it is doing something. It amazes me how few people are wearing masks where I live. If nothing else it reminds people to keep their distance.

The Mission Neck Gaiter has all of its seems stitched so they will not unravel. Material is light weight and is very cooling when wet. I live in AZ and the coolness comes in handy.ravel

I work outside in direct sunlight and I don't like using sunscreen. I prefer to cover up to protect from the sun. Also, it works great to keep dust out of my respiratory system. I also like the fact that you can soak it in cool water, which makes working in the summer heat much more tolerable. Another benefit is that you can wash it and reuse it over and over again. I have several of these and will buy more as needed.

Been using Mission cooling products for a few years and they are GREAT imho. Just wet,squeeze,snap and wear. Since I sweat a lot in the heat, these keep me cooler and suck up the sweat without it feeling heavy like regular sweat bands. And now with our mask wearing society of late, they make great coverings for your face. Also try their headbands; they really work and keep the sweat from burning my eyes.

I ordered this for a face mask and also to wear in the yard when cutting grass or working out in the heat. It does what is says it does and keep you cool, keeps all the grass and bugs from blowing in your face while mowing, and can also be used as a very comfortable mask when going to places. Highly recommend this product.

I purchased this item to respond to what they are referring to as “the new normal.” I use as my face mask, and I like that when it’s not in use it remains comfortably around my neck. The size makes it easy to fold multiple layers over my mouth and nose for additional protection.
