VIFUUR Water Sports Unisex Shoes
My Fellow Chef Christopher say Good Fitkicks alternative.
First I bought fitkicks, and they fell apart. Then I bought two other similarly generic sock/shoes, and they SUCKED and were returned the same day as delivery!
These came and they are the best so far. I work at a spa, so I wear these instead of bare feet in the winter and they’re comfortable and fit great.
Ive already put a good amount of miles on them and they show no wear. WILL BUY AGAIN
My Old Neighbor JDW Talk Great for what I used them for, but they are slippers, not shoes.
I got the men’s 11-11.5 and I normally wear a10.5 or 11 men’s shoe. Nice snug fit so that sand didn’t get in. This is really a swim sock or slipper rather than water shoe. The sole is a very thin piece of flexible rubber that does not extend up from the bottom of the foot. So there is no protection on the front of the toe, behind the heel, or on your inner arch. It was perfect for what I used them for (walking on coarse coral sand, walking on a rocky beach front, bouncing off the bottom while snorkeling, etc.). We were in Akumal, Mexico and portions of the ocean bottom just off the beach are rock or coral, and these protected my feet well. They are very light well, but even so, they wore very well for a week of daily use. Be aware though that if you are walking more aggressively in a situation with larger rocks or obstacles, these may not offer enough protection.
My Fellow The Vincents experience Perfect for your adventure.
These were PERFECT for my trip to Kauai. The beach we were near had hidden rocks in the sand - big volcanic rocks that hurt to step on... except for ME in my fancy shoes. I wore them almost constantly for a week and they held up great under all kinds of stress. I'd totally buy them again. I only wish I had ordered them for everyone in my group. Great value, great product.
My Old Man Skiesl say Awesome!.
Shoe size is 7, ordered 38/39, these are awesome. I wear these as house shoes they are so comfortable. Can't wait to take on vacation, and wear in the water. 38/39 would probably fit a 7.5 too.
My Old Neighbor AJ say No More Sore Toes.
I’ve been wanting to get into aquatic aerobics and was thankful when God brought a house to my attention that had a pool. The problem I quickly learned is that, unlike some pools with tiled bottoms, this one has a rough bottom, and the pads of my toes got a little cut up.
Not wanting to be deterred from my aerobics endeavor, I decided to find pool shoes. I came across this brand and read the reviews, which seemed to be split, 50/50. The bad reviews seemed to center around weak stitching that came apart in the water or had toes popping out at the top. Still, I decided to try them for myself and bought the pair in floral (though it was hard to choose because I liked a few of them, but I love flowers, so…).
I’ve worn them three times now. I was fortunate enough not to have them fall apart in the water or my toes popping through. But I took as close-up a picture as I could get (and it might be a bit fuzzy) to show the stitching. (It's picture #6.) It doesn’t look as if it’s about to come undone, but it might be a little loose from use.
The problem I’ve found differs. For me, during my third time in the pool with them, they kept coming off! As if I’m an aquatic Cinderella, the right one keeps slipping off my foot! I think I may know from where the trouble stems. Because of some of the reviews (and an inability to figure out the sizing chart), I erred on the side of going slightly bigger. I usually wear a size eight, but I ordered the 9/10 because, sometimes, my foot can stand a wider width, and I wasn’t certain how tight these ran. So, the Cinderella syndrome may be my doing.
I will say that these completely satisfy the reason for which I bought them. I can walk and jump around in the pool without hurting my feet or toes whatsoever! It’s really made quite a difference. I’m thankful for these shoes. When I order another pair, I’ll order them in my regular size and see if that doesn’t solve my Cinderella syndrome. 😊
As to the pictures, PLEASE forgive how terribly the floral shoes clash with my pajamas! I usually forget to get pictures of a product right away, so, when I remembered these just out of bed, I sought my phone to snap some pictures lest I forget to do so. In a couple, I tried to show how big the shoes were in the back, which, as I said, may be why the right one started slipping off.
Still, all said, I give these five stars. (It’s not the product’s fault that I may’ve ordered a size that turned out to be too big.)
My Old Man Leona J. Martin Talk Comfy, attractive, protective.
Wore these on a cruise...swam in 3 spots in the Caribbean, and they were so comfortable and protective. No sand collected inside and they dried quickly. Several other cruise guests loved them and wanted to know where I got them. Fit like a glove (or comfy smooth sock) . Definitely a good purchase
My Old Man Explorer say Measure the length of the bottom of your foot for size!.
I wear size 10 in Women's. I ordered the 9-10 (just like I do when I buy socks). These shoes were super tight! There's no way that I would be able to walk in them. The color is beautiful but there is a black strip sewn on to the back that does not stretch or move with the shoe. I measured the length of the bottom of my foot and saw that should have ordered the 11-12.
My Old Fellow Samantha Lindsay tell us Watershoes that WORK!.
I bought these shoes a couple years ago before a river hike. UM THESE ARE AWESOME. They lasted a long time and the only reason I bought these yellow ones were because I wanted a new color haha. My older pair did start to wear out in the toes from scraping them on rocks and such when hiking but still no holes in them. These shoes feel like socks but with enough of a sole that you can walk on gravel with no problem. It really is like walking barefoot. Also, these are the only water shoes that I have worn that do NOT let a bunch of debris into the shoe making you constantly have to take it off to empty it or just deal with the irritant. You can play on the beach with minimal sand stuck between your toes. Thoroughly impressed by that. So with that, I do recommend if you are a half size to size down so they are snug, otherwise the sock like ability to keep stuff out might not work so well.
My Fellow Leslie M. Talk Excellent water sports foot protection.
I am a lap and open water (ocean/lakes) swimmer. I bought these shoes to protect my feet on shore before swims and also thought I might need to wear them as I swim where river and lake bottoms might be unpredictable. I wore them in the pool for a workout; they create drag, so they are definitely not great for competition swimming. However, they appear to be very durable with a rubber sole and a thin removable shoe footbed that gives a little extra padding. I took the footbed out while swimming. They would be great for general recreational lake or beach swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing or walking a beach or wet area where shoes are needed to grip, or protect from pebbles and sharp rocks. As far as sizing, I read other reviews and ordered one size up. Probably could have gotten my regular size. These are a just a tad less snug than I would like. I wear a women's size 10 or 10-1/2 shoe and got the European size 42/43. If you want your shoes a little more on the snug side, order your regular size. I have a very wide foot though and am pleased these fit. They seem to be a good choice for universal widths. I think they'll hold up a good while as they seem to be as well made as these shoes probably can be. Nice upper material and rubber sole. Great value for what I paid. Recommend!
My Old Neighbor Mayra Mares say Great colors.
I ordered the size 7.5-8.5 shoes. I usually wear a size 9-9.5 depending on how swollen I am. I ordered these shoes because I am unable to walk across asphalt or gravel and I don’t like to take sandals that I have to babysit. I usually take all my belongings into the water with me. These shoes are flexible enough that you can put them in a small fanny pack if you don’t want to wear them. The top material is thin and soft, feels kinda like neoprene. The bottom is a thin flexible rubber sole. They feel like socks on top and slippers on the bottom. The inside has a foam sole that providers extra cushioning. It’s neither glued nor otherwise attached. You can remove it if you want but you will loose the extra walking cushion. I don’t know how much water the soles can retain. I got these a day and a half too late to try them at the beach and hose water isn’t the same. I do like the way they look and they way they fit.
