My OEM cord stopped working a few days after Christmas. My surface is only two years old almost to the day. Thanks, Microjunk! Lol. Anyway, I'm glad I could find an after market charger. Microripoff wanted to charge me 100 bone! This one seems almost identical and it comes with a nice velcro cable tie and a zipper bag for transport. So far, it's working great and I am very happy.

I bought this charger for a Surface Pro 4, this charger has higher wattage and charge the device faster than the original one.
So far it runs cold when charging with the device power off and also when charging while I was watching a movie.
The connector works fine and like the original it has a light while charging.

All along I am very satisfied with this charger.

I had a different brand of 65w charger that was not built as well and did not seem to charge as fast as this one. This charger actually is 65w and it seems like it is built well. I am hoping that this one will last longer than the one bought from a different brand. Either way, this product is a much better buy than a Microsoft branded one for 3x the price. If you need a replacement, this one is a no brainer.

I just got a surface pro 7 and somehow managed to lose the OEM power supply. I was able to charge through the USB-C port, but I wanted to keep that port free for other devices. This power supply works perfectly. The computer works fine while connected to the power supply and I like that the accessory USB-3 port is blue—the Microsoft OEM is black. Time will tell how durable it is.

USB port for phone charger died within the first week. The seller supposedly offers a 1 year warranty if registered within 14 days, which was important to me because these surface chargers have a tendency to die within the first year. However, the website required to register doesn't work. I contacted the seller and they just gave me the run around. Their first reply was that it was probably my fault, that I entered the order number incorrectly (five times? no...). After asking them several times to please register me for the warranty, each time they ignored my request. Instead, they asked me to write a review and they would send me a gift card. So here it is. On the bright side, I contacted the manufacturer who said that they will stand behind their product. Despite the USB port already dying, I have yet to send the product back (I need it for work), so I haven't been able to verify that claim.

Besides the USB port, the rest of the charger has worked fine the last two weeks. At 7ft it does seem short though, much shorter than the OEM, but it's my fault I didn't order something longer.
