QGeeM Adapter Compatible MacBook ChromeBook

QGeeM Adapter Compatible MacBook ChromeBook

My Old Fellow Kevin Talk Saves the day for MacBooks and iPads.

This adapter is exactly what you need for your MacBook. I’m still not sure why Apple decided it would be a good idea to eliminate USB ports in place of USB-C ports, but this adapter is exactly what you need to keep working while the rest of the industry catches up to Apple and ships their devices with USB-C instead of regular USB! It has all of the ports you need. Luckily, this device is nice and compact, so you can throw it in your backpack without feeling like you’re carrying around a bunch of extra equipment just to use your new computer. This device is made out of plastic but feels durable and should be able to stand up to the test of time. It’s nice it has USB 3.0 so can still benefit from the new technology. If you’re in the market for a USB-C adapter to save your day when using Apple products, this is for you!

One other use that not many remember is that the newest iPads do not have lightning connectors. They actually utilize USB-C, so if you need to project your iPad screen, this can save your day yet again! Carry this around and it’ll cover both your MacBook and iPad.

I don’t own an Android phone, but let me tip my hat because this is designed to work for Galaxy phones and others. Watch the video I’m posting and you’ll see which phones this works with.

My friend Vikrant Talk I was looking for something like this!.

I recently bought HP Ultrabook and that doesn't have an HDMI port. I like to stream content every once in a while from my computer on my TV via HDMI port and this was not possible anymore with my ultrabook. Enter this device! This really expands my connectivity options and I was surprised at the video quality. It says 4K video output on the HDMI connector, but I was really surprised to see the quality. Don't know if it's my ultrabook or this device, but I am pleasantly surprised.

Overall, does what it's supposed to do and is good value for money. Would recommend it to others who are looking for a similar device.

My Fellow R3 experience A must accessory for Surface Go or Pro.

I purchased this specifically for my Surface Go, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
It really completes my setup with Surface Go, with dual USB, HDMI port and SD card reader.
I loose a USB C and instead get all this connectors, which are most compatible with devices.

I was able to plug-in my logitech mouse + keyboard and dell monitor, without any setup/config.
It simply worked right out of the box; and it is super light to carry around without even noticing.

Time will tell, how is the quality after a while, but thus far, I don't see any issues with the device.

My Fellow Happy Buyer tell us QGeeM USB hub does it's job well.

The QGeeM 5 in 1 usb hub is compact in size and has most of the ports that you'll need. It connects via a USB C cable, which gave me a use for the USB C port in my laptop. The hub itself has a SD card slot, micro SD card slot, one USB 2.0 slot, one USB 3.0 slot, and a HDMI slot.

I've tested it on my computer and all the ports work well. I can use all the USB ports, HDMI, and card slot simultaneously. However, I was able to use either the micro SD card or SD card at a single time and could not use both at the same time. I was able to connect multiple DVD/Bluray drives, external hard drives, and pen drives with no problems at all. HDMI connected immediately to my TV monitor.

I've tested it on my phone as well, and the card slots, USB slots, and HDMI port work well. But I was not able to use all the ports simultaneously, which I am assuming is because the power demand was too much for a phone. It may vary from one phone model to another.

The built is of plastic, which doesn't seem to be the highest quality, but for the price can't really expect much more. It is very light weight, but I don't know how many drops it can sustain. Only time will tell. The wire seems to be the standard rubber cable, and the USB C plug is plastic. It has a nice white light which glows up when its connected, so you'll be able to know whether there is power input to the hub or not.

Another drawback I feel is that the SD card and micro SD card slots are placed too close to one another. Inserting the cards is not the smoothest and feels a little clunky.

Overall, I believe the QGeeM 5 in 1 hub is a very good one and would highly recommend it.

My Old Fellow Paul C Talk Works with Pixel 3 XL with lower power consumption..

This is my third QGeeM item. I have an impression from the previous USB C hub that I purchased a month a go. This time I need a low power consumption USB C hub for my Pixel 3 XL to backup files out to flashdrive and SD card. The common problem for many owners of the Pixel phones is that the phones don't have the build in SD card slot. Then the most fastest way to backup or export files out is to use the USB C hub.

The QGeeM 5 in 1 doesn't disappoint me and let me quickly transfer thousands of photos out to my flash drive in less than an hour. It didn't at all drain too much of the power from my phone. I can also do the wireless charging my phone while transfer the files out using this 5 in 1 Hub.

Very happy with the quality!!! Will buy again in the future.

My Fellow Matt Hall Talk Good quality and lots of possibilities!.

Great product! Great instructions and info available. Worked right out of the box with my Galaxy S8; I can either use the Samsung Dex program or just mirror my screen. Not all apps work with Dex, so it's nice to have the screen mirror option. Now I can watch anything I like wherever I have a TV with an HDMI outlet. I haven't gotten the charging option to work yet (plug USB into charger to charge phone while using HDMI) but that may have to do with my charger or cord not being compatible. It does keep the battery pretty close to the same while it's streaming though, so that's better than nothing.

My Fellow Jonathan say Simple Little USB-C Hub.

Ever since getting my new MacBook Pro with only thunderbolt/usb-c ports, I’ve been complaining about needing an adapter for everything. This little guy is very light weight, like you can feel it’s only plastic, but it does feel sturdy. If you need usb3 make sure you plug into the right port, as there are two different speeds. It’s labeled on the bottom.

My plan is to simply keep this in my backpack for quick thumb drive access or to hook up to an HDMI projector. I expect it to do the job without issue.

My Old Fellow History And Camera Dude say Awesome device, does a great job!.

I bought an Apple HDMI adapter for my work Apple devices. They worked well, so I thought that the USB-C devices should work equally well for Android. I researched some devices on Amazon, and found this QGeeM 5 in 1 adapter. Once I got it, I put my Galaxy S9+ in mirror mode, connected the adapter to it, then connected the HDMI cable from the monitor to the adapter, and it worked immediately! Then I connected my wireless mouse Blutooth dongle to the QGeeM adapter, and it worked right away, too! I highly recommend this!

My Old Fellow Strings experience Very Handy - PLug & Play - Like it better than the MS dock..

I find this device to be the most practical for my MS Surface Go. It's a quality product and simple to use. It makes the Surface Go have all the ports one should need plus I can use it on my Android phone and other friends devices and etc. Oh and the price is definitely right. Highly Recommend!
This review was for: USB C Hub, QGeeM 5 in 1 USB C to HDMI 4K Adapter

My Buddy Casey tell us It is exactly what is says it is.

Look, we suddenly had a need for a USB-C to HDMI connecter for a home office, due the non-stop fun that is going on in the world (please note people of the future that yes, everything you read about this time is true and at the end of the day, our bad). The added ports have also proven valuable, so overall great value and quality, 5 stars.
