My Old Man KW tell us Not the same; didn't fit.

It looks the same at a glance, but it didn't go in all the way and a closer look revealed 2 tabs too big and one too small, plus some little things inside a different size as well. My laptop is HP-15, not the one they say here, BUT my HP battery specifically says use replacement 776622-001, which this says it is. It may happen to fit the laptop it claims, but it is not identical to the real HP 776622-001 battery.

All the packaging had been previously opened, the battery looked exactly the same but would not lock onto the computer. Don't waste your time!

At first I thought this was a good value. The battery seemed to be adequate, right up until the return window closed. I wonder how they time that? If you buy this, make sure you keep an eye on the return date, and battery performance.

I bought this spare battery as a replacement to the original battery that came with my HP Laptop. The battery arrived quickly and was super easy to install. The battery worked great for about 2 weeks when all of a sudden my battery notification on my laptop would indicate that the charger was plugged in but the battery was not charging; and the battery indicator light on the side of my laptop is white & blinking which would indicate the same thing as the notification. I requested a replacement from the company, thinking that maybe it was just a fluke.

The replacement battery arrived quickly & again was super easy to install. The replacement battery worked as it should, but for Exactly 1 month & 2 days (just long enough for the amazon replacement/return window to close). Now I can't return it and I'm stuck with a spare battery that I can not use, looking for & spending money on another replacement battery, as well as a dying laptop.

Avoid this company & their products at all cost.

I have an HP 15 laptop. The battery that it came with decided to die out on me so I checked to see if there was a replacement I could order for it. The replacement number given on my original laptop battery was 776622-001. So, I ordered this one here. I ordered it on 9/23/19 and got it 9/27/19 which was pretty quick to deliver. The battery fits as expected (yay) and I have not had any issues as of yet with the replacement.

So far the only thing I do not find myself satisfied with is the fit. yes, the laptop is working, yes the battery is charging, yes the charge lasts several hours! however the fit is not flush. I fear the battery will eventually pop out. it does not easily lock in place. one of the two releases does not lock on to it. I put the original back on and there are no problems, swap it with this new one and I have to make an effort to get it to go in and secure it. It is just a minute size or gap issue, I am positive I can have it fitting perfect with the use of emery board, sandpaper or a small file. apart from that no other issues. quick delivery fast charging and good price.

HP Laptop bought from a retail store, the battery has never been the best. It has been dropped a few hundred times and made the original battery lose as a clip came off of it. It died within minutes of being unplugged. This battery lasts a very long time, however, I have to remove the battery and put it back in every other day so that it charges. It will make the light near the charger port blink and is not charging. Once it is removed and reinserted, it charges fine. No installation was required.

I put in the very specific model number of my laptop and this is what Amazon gave me. The description was vague because it referenced the entire class of laptops but not the exact model. I tried several searches and each time this is what I got and as a prime member I figured it would take less time to get the battery & try it than it would to get a straight answer as to what models exactly it worked for.... I was right less than 24 hours later and I have the battery. It doesn't fit. I printed out the return label and it's already at the UPS drop off. Here is a clue to this seller (and all sellers) and amazon..... don't make it easier for us to tempt fate and buy on a chance than it takes to get easy info about the exact details.... just sayin.

For a home laptop that sits on a desk and that’s it. This is perfect. For those of us who use a laptop on the go, basically what a laptop is designed for. This was a major disappointment. Battery life was acceptable. Construction was a joke. Before any use it was bowed and barely fit. After putting laptop away in a carry case, I pulled the laptop out and battery fell off. Pieces that held battery inslot had snapped off. All of them. This had not had any rough handling.
