Charger Replacement Adapter Magsafe Compatible

My Old Fellow Hank Hancock said It works great with my late 2011 17" MacBook Pro.

Well, I'm impressed! I could have spent $80+ for a replacement charger but saved over $60 with this charger.

I admit I was skeptical but after reading the reviews, I made the purchase. I'm glad I did. As a videographer, I use my laptop to convert and render video files using batch processing with LUT color grading. The work is CPU intensive and demands a lot of power from the charger. Running a batch process, the laptop ran for nearly two days converting a large number of files. This charger had no problem providing the power non-stop. It felt warm to the touch but not hot - about what my original OEM charger felt like.

The Magsafe L-Tip connects just as well as the original. The lights on it display charge status identical to the original.

If your laptop is outside of Apple warranty, don't waste your money on an Apple replacement charger. This one works just as well and for 1/4 the price.

My old macbook pro charger finally went on my backup laptop. I searched all through amazon first to try to find an older version and then one without crappy reviews. Crossed my fingers ordered this guy and very pleased thus far! Looks great charges fast and successfully. Also I thought my battery was pretty shot in the old lap top but after buying this I realized it was my charger that wasn't charging it all the way. So now for only $20 I got a great new charger and kind of a new battery. Good Stuff!

The adapter is exactly as described in the Amazon listing: a replacement for the Aqqle 85 Watt Magsafe (version 1) adapter. Pros: Savings of over $55.00 vs. OEM; product is almost indistinguishable from the OEM version; has the same slide-on plug so the OEM wall extension cord from the old adapter works fine with it; runs at approximately the same temperture as the OEM charger. Cons: a degree of fear, uncertainty, and doubt due to the way Amazon Reviews are sometimes not paired with the proper merchandise. Before purchase, I read reviews that said this device sparked, ran so hot it might burn down my home, and fall apart when I tried to plug it in. NONE of these things have proven to be true IN MY EXPERIENCE to date.
Since I've only had a a couple of days, I cannot address the reviews that state theirs stopped working after a short while. If that does happen, I'll update this review.
I think some of the negative reviews are for another product that may have been cross-linked with this one. I have seen that happen on Amazon on several occasions. Reviews for several different sizes or colors of a product all get lumped together under one category. It has caused confusion and FUD in the past and doubtless will into the future.
What I can say is that this charger is working well for me. And if asked the question "Would you recommend it?" my answer is YES.

 This product works great! It’s compatible with my MacBook Pro and came with a nice plastic covering for the charger itself to keep it clean when not in use. The ends of the cable has a thick, flexible layer over it to protect the ends from being damaged. Works great and is much cheaper than getting an Apple charger! Would definitely recommend!

 The fit and finish of this product is every bit as good as an Apple OEM charger. Save the long cord from your old charger - it slides into place exactly as before. Charging is fast and easy.
This is a great product at about one quarter of the price of an Apple branded charger.

 I’m so excited!!! I thought I would have a hard time finding this product because it’s for an older Mac Book but I found it with no problem! The chord is not very very long but it’s perfectly charging my computer!

 I ordered this replacement MacBook charger for my 2012 MacBook. It was delivered on time and looks just like the original at first glance. I am really pleased with the longer cord length, which eliminates the need to attach the charger to the longer extension cord. I am pleased so far and will leave a further review after using it for some time. I have uploaded a brief video showing the packaging and product overview.

 This unit is a good value, significantly less expensive than the Apple version if it is even still available. The last time I priced one it was about $80. This one as well constructed, the cable is sturdy - somewhat heavier gauge than the last one I had, and it has a good strain relief at the point where the cable meets the magnetic connector, which is the point of failure that I’ve observed with two of them, including the original Apple version. It comes in sturdy solid packaging, and included with the unit were foreign country AC plug adapters, although I don’t need them, would be useful to someone who travels. It works perfectly with my late 2010 MacBook Pro and I can recommend the product.

Purchased February 7, 2020. Charger is dead today, April 22, 2020. Lasted two months, two weeks. Not good.
